Alan Scharsu

Chief Financial Officer

Professional Background:
Alan has served as the Chief Financial Officer of River Rock Capital Partners since June 2014. With experience at the Controller and CFO level since 2000, he is a seasoned real estate accounting and finance professional. Before joining River Rock, he spent seven years as Controller with Davlyn Investments, a California-based private equity group specializing in acquiring and repositioning apartment communities. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.

What He Does at River Rock:
As CFO, Alan oversees all facets of accounting, finance, HR, SOX compliance, and IT. His responsibilities include financial statement preparation, internal and external audits, policy and procedure enforcement, investor and lender relations, employee benefits management, and supporting acquisitions, dispositions, and project financing and refinancing.

What Drives Alan:
Alan is committed to financial excellence and strategic planning, ensuring the company operates efficiently and continues to grow. He takes pride in maintaining strong financial oversight and supporting River Rock’s long-term success.

Beyond Work:
Outside of the office, Alan enjoys the lake lifestyle of boating and golfing. He is also a proud Penn State alumnus.
