Austin is responsible for spearheading land and project acquisitions for the firm. He collaborates with both the Acquisitions and Development Teams to identify new investment opportunities and manage ongoing ground-up development projects.

Austin has held various Commercial Real Estate positions that enhanced his interest in and improved his knowledge and understanding of the Real Estate Industry. Austin graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration and Finance.

Since joining the River Rock Team, Austin has played a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring new development sites, contributing to the addition of more than 1,000 active adult rental units to the firm’s development pipeline. Beyond residential development, his efforts have significantly enhanced the firm’s portfolio through his role in both the acquisition and disposition of over 300,000 square feet of self-storage facilities.
