Professional Background:
Dan co-founded River Rock Capital Partners in 2010 alongside Jerry Mosley and plays a pivotal role in guiding the firm’s strategic direction. He develops and negotiates key relationships with investors, partners, and lenders while overseeing finance, accounting, and technology operations.
Before founding River Rock, Dan was Managing Vice President at Cedarwood Development, where he led the performance of over 2.9 million square feet of retail development and oversaw commercial acquisitions. With more than two decades of experience in business and real estate, he has been involved in 21 private M&A transactions, serving as a principal investor, board member, and strategic advisor. His expertise spans growth strategies, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, organizational turnarounds, and post-acquisition integration.

As Co-CEO, Dan directs the firm’s investment strategy, sits on the Executive Investment Committee, and ensures the effective allocation of resources across all development and acquisition initiatives.

Beyond Work:
Dan enjoys spending quality time with his family and their beloved rescue dogs. An advocate for animal rescue, he has provided a loving home to multiple dogs over the years.
