Professional Background:
Lawrence has been in the commercial real estate and finance industry since 1995, originating and underwriting nearly $2 billion in financing transactions. Before joining River Rock, he served as Senior Vice President of Debt and Equity at NorthMarq Capital. His career also includes roles as Director of Originations at Love Funding Corporation, Director at RED Capital Group, Founder and CEO of Reiles Capital Group, and Senior Originator and Underwriter at Greystone & Co.

Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Management from Schiller International University, where he studied in London, Heidelberg, and Paris. He is a certified HUD MAP & LEAN Underwriter for multifamily and senior housing financing transactions and is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC).

What He Does at River Rock:
Lawrence leads the firm’s capital-raising initiatives and serves on the investment committee, overseeing the origination and execution of real estate development and acquisition transactions. He is responsible for investment analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, and securing debt and equity capital. Additionally, he manages investor and lender relationships, reporting, and provides guidance on asset management and dispositions.

Lawrence is motivated by the opportunity to provide River Rock with a competitive edge by identifying and securing the most efficient capital structures for its investments.

Outside of work, Lawrence enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and three young children.
