Lawrence leads the capital raising initiatives as well as the origination and execution of real estate development, acquisition and investment transactions of the firm. He is responsible for deal sourcing, investment analysis and due diligence, deal structuring and raising debt and equity capital. He also manages investor and lender relationships and reporting as well as oversight of asset performance and dispositions.

Lawrence has over 26 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance, having originated and underwritten over $1.4 billion in financing transactions. Prior to joining River Rock, Lawrence was Senior Vice President of Debt and Equity at NorthMarq Capital. He was also a Director of Originations at Love Funding Corporation, a Director at RED Capital Group, Founder and CEO of Reiles Capital Group, a capital advisory firm based in New York, and a Senior Originator and Underwriter at Greystone & Co.

Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Management from Schiller International University in London, Heidelberg and Paris. He is a certified HUD MAP & LEAN Underwriter for multifamily and seniors housing financing transactions. Lawrence is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC).
