Marilyn began her career in construction accounting in 2005 and joined River Rock in 2017. Since then, she has played a key role in the financial management of the company’s development projects. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively on single-family home projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

What She Does at River Rock:
As a staff accountant, Marilyn manages key financial processes, including preparing and executing monthly bank draws to ensure project funding is distributed appropriately. She also assists in compiling monthly financial reports, providing crucial insights for decision-making. Additionally, she collaborates closely with the controller, Frank, to implement new financial processes and support the company’s continued growth.

What Drives Marilyn:
Marilyn is motivated by collaboration and the opportunity to work alongside a talented team. She thrives in an environment where financial workflows can be streamlined and efficiency improved, knowing that her efforts contribute to the success of every development.

Beyond Work:
Outside of work, Marilyn loves to travel, experiment with new recipes, and, most importantly, spend time with her grandson.
