Sean Cullen

Vice President of Development

Professional Background:
Prior to Sean joining River Rock in August 2021, he served as Vice President of Development for 2 other prominent real estate development companies dating back to 1999. With these companies, he successfully coordinated the development of multiple mixed-use projects around the US. Many of the tasks he orchestrated included obtaining all governmental approvals, hiring, and coordinating with the design professionals, and working with the construction, leasing and property management teams. Sean also collaborated with the in-house acquisition, legal and finance groups to help evaluate the viability of each development project.

What He Does at River Rock:
As Vice President of Development, Sean is responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of the real estate development process including due diligence procurement, planning and design, budget analysis, along with the coordination between the construction and asset management teams.

What Drives Sean:
Sean is driven by the people he’s fortunate to work with, from the in-house team to consultants, construction personnel, and staff within the communities River Rock develops across the Southeast U.S.

Beyond Work:
When Sean’s not at the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking the family dog, and exploring the outdoors in the Charlotte area.
